And So It Is
Good news: I’ve never had such a wonderful time, learnt so much, been so excited in a classroom. Ever. Bad news: Life as it was; lazing about in the mornings reading my RSS (endless) feeds, timesonline, last week’s copy of the New Yorker ends right now.
We are talking
trips, trips, TRIPS for the months of October and December.
And I’ve not even survived my first one yet. Off to Oxford on Monday. You should see me now, all jittery and hyper. But at least I’ve channeled the extra energy into something useful - buying clothes for Fall/Winter (ordinarily, such a chore would be beyond me, and yes, I mean that).

But every single time I look at the intro letter, I get a little panic attack and then my godawful imagination runs wild - dragging my guts along with it. This might be the scariest thing I’ve ever done/ will do.
Less than 48 hours ago, we were still in New York, stuck in traffic while on our way to the flight out. I’m in Frankfurt airport now, waiting for the connection back home.. See you guys in a few!

Neighbours
We just spent an evening with the nicest people in Germany, I think. It seemed unlikely that we would ever have anything more than civil exchanges with our neighbours, even though the numbers (three other apartments above us in our building, all with people younger than, or around the age of thirty) should point to the opposite. But then, this is Germany. So we were quite surprised when the...
